About Liz

Elizabeth “Liz” Carpenter, CRIS
Principal Broker
Residential and Multifamily Investment

My 1st investment property in Oregon was in 1988, when I purchased an adult care home and then another in 1990. By 1995 I owned and managed (licensed) three adult care homes. After 10 years it was time for a change and invested in a Multifamily 10 plex and 4 plex. After rehabing these units I decided it was time to invest in my career as a Real Estate broker. After receiving my license I wanted to futher educate myself in investment properties. I earned my CRIS (Certified Residential Investment Specialist) designation to understand the key investment concepts like cap rates, NOI and cash on cash returns. This program also included general leasing terms and information on long range aspect of real estate investing. To learn more about this program go to www.c-ris.com.

I am a member of several Real Estate commercial groups so as to keep up to date on real estate opportunities.

Currently on the Board of Directors for the Rental Housing Association of Greater Portland, membership of more than 1500 landlord/property owners, www.rhagp.org.

The local CCIM group, the most respected group in real estate investment. www.ccim.com

I also attend the Mart, a broker organization that meets to analyze and network on commercial real estate. www.mart1031.com

My goal is to educate myself within residential and multifamily real estate investments, in order to better serve the needs of clients.
